Hazelnut flour is a decadent gluten free flour choice made from whole, raw hazelnuts. Also known as filberts, hazelnuts have a slight naturally sweet flavor and a great nutrient profile. With high contents of healthy omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, this antioxidant rich flour may help reduce inflammation, as well as offer many other overall benefits. With just four grams of carbohydrates per serving—finely ground hazelnut meal flour is a nice ingredient to have on hand for gluten free, paleo, and low carb diets.

Delectable in a wide range of recipes, especially gluten free baked goods, this non-GMO single ingredient grain free flour is keto and paleo friendly, offering up a rich, subtly nutty and buttery flavor. You can use this flour in place of breadcrumbs, in meatballs, and as breading on vegetables, meat, or fish. Hazelnut flour is outstanding in pastries, pie crusts, and cakes. It pairs perfectly with chocolate, makes delicious macaroons, and is an essential ingredient for hazelnut cookies.

Nicely nutty.

The texture of this hazelnut flour is perfect - which can be hard to find. It works well in muffins, banana bread (that’s the best)! and I has even been a nice addition when I’ve tossed a scoop in smoothies for protein.
